More migrants arriving in Lampedusa; migrant with chickenpox evacuated by Open Arms

An urgent medical evacuation took place from the NGO ship Open Arms. A migrant who claimed to be Bengali and was rescued on Friday was found to have chickenpox. He was taken to a clinic after being brought to the dock by the coast guard. Yesterday, there were 23 landings on the island, totaling 788 people. Among them, a migrant was found by immigration police claiming to have arrived alone at the commercial dock and then made his own way to the reception center.
