There are 112 migrants who arrived between night and dawn, with three different small boats, in Lampedusa. The first 8-metre boat, carrying 14 people (8 minors) originally from the Ivory Coast and Tunisia, was hooked off the coast by the V1102 patrol boat of the Guardia di Finanza.
In Cala Madonna 36 (10 women and 3 minors) Bengalis, Senegalese, Malaysians and Gambians were blocked. The boat of about 7 meters, used for the crossing, has not been found. At dawn, again the patrol boat of the Fiamme Gialle, blocked a 12-metre boat carrying 62 (15 women and 4 minors) originating from Mali, Guinea, Ivory Coast and Cameroon.
All the boats that arrived between yesterday and today appear to have set sail for the most part from Sfax. Only one from Djerba and another from Zuara in Libya. Yesterday 432 migrants arrived on the island.
