The incumbent mayor of Monreale, Alberto Arcidiacono, supported by regional deputy Marco Intravaia, is set to be re-elected with the backing of three civic lists. According to early data from 7 out of 36 sections, Arcidiacono has received 3,016 votes (85.22%), followed by Lillo Sanfratello of the Democratic Party with 243 votes (6.87%), Natale Macaluso with 118 votes (3.36%) from Brothers of Italy, and Filippo Parello with 161 votes (4.55%) from the Five Star Movement. Monreale has a total of 33,466 eligible voters.
