Mirror Scam: Convicted in Novara, Arrested in Noto

The Noto carabinieri have arrested a 26-year-old man, belonging to the local semi-nomadic community, in compliance with an order issued by the prosecutor’s office of Novara. He was recognized guilty of the so-called “rearview mirror scam” committed in Piedmont in 2019. The man has been sentenced to 11 months and 28 days of imprisonment and a fine of 600 euros. After the necessary procedures, he was taken to Cavadonna prison in Siracusa.
