Migrants: two landings in Lampedusa, 98 people arrived

Ninety-eight migrants landed on the island of Lampedusa, ending a temporary ban on arrivals that was in place since last Friday. Fifty migrants from Gambia, Senegal, Guinea, and Mali were located at Cala Madonna by the carabinieri, while another 48, claiming to be from Ivory Coast, Malaysia, Guinea, Senegal, and Gambia, were rescued while on a small boat off the coast of the largest of the Pelagie Islands.
