Twenty-seven Egyptians, Pakistanis, Syrians, and Palestinians landed at Cala Pisana in Lampedusa. To help the migrants, including a woman and a minor, many bathers who continue to crowd the beaches and coast of the largest of the Pelagie islands. At Cala Pisana, the carabinieri from the local station also arrived and seized the 8-meter boat en route from Karabolli in Libya.
