Messina, great little artists grow up at the Sant’Ignazio college

Little great artists are born at the Collegio S. Ignazio. The art teacher Rosy Siracusa, together with the children of the Dame and Cavalieri section, second classes of the kindergarten, has created an art gallery, through a laboratory that represents a place of creativity, freedom and discovery. The workshop aims to bring children closer to Art, through “doing”, especially in this very difficult moment.

Picking up a canvas, feeling important, preparing the materials, creates in children a feeling of responsibility, freedom and great emotions, inspired by gold, the sun, the sea, flowers, family, our dreams. The designs are not perfect, but the Art is not perfect, otherwise it would not be beautiful. The subjects are simple, but the History of Art teaches that great masterpieces were born from simplicity.

The children were delighted: each painting carries with it the expression of their delicate souls. This morning to admire the small masterpieces, set up in a real exhibition, the director of the College Prof. Maria Muschera ‘and the pupils of the Primary school classes.
