Messina gears up for a big Christmas, Pooh concert in Duomo square

Christmas party in Messina, with a big concert scheduled for December 28th, when the band Pooh will perform in Piazza Duomo. In addition to the concert, there will be a Christmas market at Piazza Cairoli, open from December 8th to January 8th. The city’s Christmas program includes a concert at the Basilica di Sant’Antonio, a procession of bagpipers, tree lightings, and various other events highlighting local traditions and music. There will also be events for young people at the train station, and a choral competition with the final at the Duomo on December 14th and 15th.
