Marsala opens center for men abused by women

An association called “Center for Abused Men” has been established in Marsala by women. The promoter of the association is 38-year-old entrepreneur Peppe Arangio, who works in the production of industrial vehicles for the environment. The association aims to provide real help to men who often, after divorce, find themselves living on the streets or in their cars. The association has already opened branches in Sicily, Lombardy, Tuscany, Lazio, and Sardinia. They have received 530 members in just 48 hours and are working to provide support to men who are victims of abuse. They also aim to counter the current trend that assumes men are always guilty, regardless of their actions, and believe in an open dialogue and understanding between the genders. They express willingness to coordinate with women’s anti-violence centers for a more comprehensive approach.
