More than a thousand files and videos with sexual content were found on some computers, hard drives, pen drives, and several smartphones, each containing a different sim card with different phone numbers. All devices were seized and analyzed, allowing the various episodes against the minors, which occurred between February and September 2019, to be confirmed.
Hernandez not only “encouraged” the girls to send hot photos and videos, but also sent them himself, pointing the camera at himself. The recipient of the material, in one case, was an eleven-year-old girl at the time of the events. He had prompted her to undress and engage in sexual acts. Among the platforms used, there were also Facebook and Instagram, as in the case of a twelve-year-old girl, who was lured through Whatsapp and then invited to erotic video calls through the app on her smartphone. The girl had been contacted more than once, always in the same way and for the same purpose.
The 23-year-old man also targeted another eleven-year-old, urging her to show her private parts online. The latter had sent the material, through photos and videos. In most cases, the minors were convinced to masturbate under his “guidance”. The young girls would record the videos and then send them to Hernandez, who, in some cases, preferred this to happen “live” through a video call.
