Man arrested in Ragusa after entering home of woman who had reported him

A 22-year-old non-EU citizen of Moroccan origin, residing in the province of Ragusa, has been arrested by the carabinieri for violating a restraining order against a woman he had been harassing and had even assaulted. Two days ago, he climbed along the gutter and broke into her apartment, verbally and physically attacking her. The woman managed to call for help using her mobile phone, and a friend contacted the carabinieri, who caught him in the apartment and made the arrest. The woman has been taken to Giovanni Paolo II Hospital in Ragusa.
