Man arrested for growing drugs at home in Partinico and assaulting police officers

The State Police arrested a 38-year-old man from Palermo domiciled in Partinico accused of cultivating marijuana, resistance, threats, violence, assaulting a public official, and damaging a State property. The agents had been monitoring an apartment for some time. They showed up in the area and stopped the tenant. The suspect first threatened them and then attacked them with kicks and punches, also damaging the police station’s car. With some difficulty, the police were able to apprehend the man.

During the search of the house he shares with his wife, an indoor marijuana plantation with 43 plants was found, equipped with everything needed for its cultivation (ventilation tube, hygrometer, halogen lamps, and fans) and packaging. Hidden in the apartment were another kilo and a half of marijuana, 100 grams of hashish, and 1,000 euros in cash. The 38-year-old man was arrested and his wife was reported. The arrest was confirmed by the judge.
