Man arrested for growing drugs at home in Carini, wife reported

Carabinieri of the Carini company arrested a 48-year-old man, known to the police, for the crimes of cultivation of drugs and theft of electricity, committed in collaboration with his 47-year-old wife, who was reported in a state of freedom. During a territory control service, a large indoor cannabis plantation of 417 plants was discovered in the city center, all equipped with lamps, reactors, fans, and a scale. The equipment was powered by an illegal connection to the electrical grid, which was removed by specialized personnel. Part of the drugs was sampled and sent to a laboratory for analysis, while the rest was destroyed on site by the judicial authority’s order.
