Man arrested for drug dealing in Licata, also found with sawed-off shotgun at home

The Carabinieri of Licata, in the province of Agrigento, arrested a 51-year-old man from the area caught in the act of illegal possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a clandestine weapon, and ammunition. During a search of a sheep pen owned by the man, located in the Agrabona district, the military, with the support of the Eliportato Cacciatori Sicilia Squadron, found over one kilogram of marijuana, divided into five bags, a 12-gauge shotgun with sawed-off barrels, and approximately 100 cartridges, some loaded with pellets. The material was seized and made available to the judicial authorities. The man was transferred to the Agrigento penitentiary pending a court hearing.
