Ludopatia, the TAR suspended the ordinance of the Municipality of Palermo
The Tar of Palermo suspended the ordinance of the Municipality of Palermo against ludopathies. The municipal ordinance limited the opening hours of the game rooms and the distance from schools and youth gathering centers. The appeal was filed by Cdm Entertainment srl, assisted by lawyers Salvatore and Luigi Raimondi.
Among the reasons for the appeal, the applicants complain of the violation of the agreement between the government, regions and local authorities on the collection of public gaming, which provides for up to a total of 6 hours of daily closure. The Tar judges recognized the danger for the applicant company, whose opening hours would decrease from the current 19 hours to 9 hours a day, and the risk of dismissal of almost all 12 employees.
