Looking up, the Tricolor Arrows arrive in Palermo.

#Palermo
All eyes to the sky, here come the Italian Air Force’s aerobatic team, the Frecce Tricolori, for a flyover to thank Palermo and Sicily. This morning at 11:30, they will be flying over the city, starting with Via Libertà and then continuing towards the Four Corners, where they will create a beautiful white, red, and green trail, adding even more spectacle to an already stunning scenery. The flyover will be double, as besides the horizontal one starting from Via Libertà, there will also be a vertical one starting from Porta Nuova to Foro Italico. The tricolour trail will be right in the heart of the city, precisely over the Four Corners. Spectacle, photo opportunities (for those skilled in taking selfies…), and emotions are guaranteed for those who are punctual, just like the Frecce Tricolori usually are.

This event is part of the celebrations for the centenary of the Italian Air Force, for which an exhibition has been organized in the city with the active participation of the Department of Culture, led by Giampiero Cannella. Yesterday afternoon, the aerobatic team performed in Donnalucata, a coastal town in the Ragusa province, and today they will make a stop in Pantelleria. On Wednesday, they will be flying above Lampedusa.
