The Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini is on vacation in the Aeolian Islands after a great season that saw him win the Europa League. While walking on the main street of Lipari, he was approached by fans for a souvenir photo and he was very friendly and smiling with everyone. However, during another attempt to take a photo with a couple of tourists from Varese, a video started and maybe because the former coach and player of Palermo saw the bike with an Inter plate, he quickly left. It was justified, as some islanders who witnessed the scene commented that he was in a hurry because he was leaving with a friend on a yacht tour.
In the hot summer of the Aeolian Islands, Gasperini was not the only sportsman to come and spend a vacation. In Panarea and Stromboli, the new Napoli coach Antonio Conte also made a fleeting visit, arriving from Calabria, precisely from Vibo Marina, with his yacht.
In Salina, at the Football Museum’s Grand Gala organized by Santino Ruggera, former Italian national team and AC Milan goalkeeper Giovanni Galli was present, while in Filicudi, a few days before the European Championships began, Billy Costacurta and his wife Martina Colombari enjoyed a two-day vacation.
