Light plane taken off from Catania crashes: two dead
A "Tecnam P2002" aircraft, which took off for a training flight from the Catania aeroclub with an expert instructor and a young student on board, crashed this morning. They were flying over the Siracusan countryside when, for reasons under investigation, it suddenly lost altitude and crashed, crashing to the ground. Inspectors from the National Flight Safety Agency and the National Civil Aviation Authority went to the site to investigate the case. The prosecutor of Syracuse has opened an investigation.
