Everything is ready for the date of Palermo (January 21 – Golden Theater) of "Christian tells Christian De Sica", the show that marks the return to theater of Christian De Sica. The Italian actor, director and showman talks to the public with words and songs, narrating the encounters of his life and the anecdotes of his career. In a sparkling dialogue with Pino Strabioli, a brilliant actor and refined performer, with him on stage in the new role of master of the show and together with an incredible band conducted by Maestro Marco Tiso. Through irresistible monologues and moving stories, De Sica traces the years alongside the great father Vittorio, the beginnings of his career and the tales of that Christmas cinema that has accompanied and outlined the last thirty years of Italian history.
"Christian tells Christian De Sica", produced by Niccolò Petitto, is written by Christian De Sica, who also takes care of the direction, and by Raffaello Fusaro,
The show shows a De Sica in the mirror, man and performer, in his most authentic roles: first that of son, then husband, father and eclectic artist.
His rare talent allows him to move lightly from the story of the curious encounter with an attempted Wanda Osiris, to the memory of high school with Carlo Verdone, alternating with his splendid voice interpretations of Italian and foreign swing pieces with the timeless notes of Sinatra.
Accompanied on the piano by Maestro Riccardo Biseo, Christian tells De Sica by moving, singing, having fun and thrilling.
“For me it's a dream – commented De Sica – because singing is the thing I do best. My myth is Sinatra. In my life, in fact, acting is almost an optional and even in movies, as soon as I can, I sing. More than Christian De Sica on stage is Christian. I will tell you everything that has happened to me. I had the misfortune of having been conceived by my father at 51 years of age and, therefore, of not having been able to have him as much as I wanted, but also the good fortune of being able to meet, thanks to him, extraordinary characters. People like Ava Gardner, Charlie Chaplin, Loren, Montgomery Clift. Even Wanda Osiris. I went around death, since at Chaplin I found myself working with Boldi. On the street people don't say "you're good", they say "I love you" and this is the greatest satisfaction that the actor's job could give me ".
