Lampedusa: Nigerian woman’s emergency abortion interrupts NGO ship journey.

A pregnant Nigerian woman in her sixth month of pregnancy was rescued from the NGO Sea Eye 4 ship in Lampedusa, Italy. Due to her critical condition, she was immediately taken to a clinic where doctors confirmed a miscarriage. The woman, who remains unidentified, was then transferred by helicopter to a hospital in Palermo for further treatment.
