Lampedusa lifts ban on swimming at Cala Pisana beach

The recent water sampling carried out by the Palermo Public Health Agency (Asp) on the waters of Cala Pisana in Lampedusa has given a favorable result: the sea is once again suitable for swimming. The mayor of the Pelagie Islands, Filippo Mannino, has therefore revoked the temporary bathing ban that was imposed on August 5th when the Asp analysis revealed the exceeding of the microbiological parameters limit values for Escherichia coli.
