Ispica councilor in turmoil due to a post praising Raffaele Cutolo

The councilor of Ispica, Angelo Galifi, posted a video on his Facebook profile featuring the ruthless Camorra boss, Raffaele Cutolo, with the comment “The professor was right”. This act is seen as a disrespectful gesture towards the numerous innocent victims of the Camorra and undermines the very institution that Galifi should be representing. It is unacceptable to idolize a criminal who has been involved in some of the darkest moments of our country’s history. Francesco Emilio Borrelli, a deputy from the Green Alliance – Left, has called for an immediate apology from Galifi.
