Increased thefts and damage reported at Palermo’s Policlinico

Last night and this morning, thieves broke into the Policlinico hospital in Palermo, causing new thefts and damage. The Scientific Police spent the morning searching the departments for any useful clues to track down the thieves who have been targeting the hospital for months. The thefts occurred in the quality control and chemical risk laboratory, which also houses the national early warning service (Snap), and in the dressing room of the Otorhinolaryngology department. The hospital has security cameras, but they have not been functioning for years.
