Three large-displacement motorcycles collided this afternoon in Linguaglossa, a municipality at the foot of Mount Etna in the province of Catania. The incident occurred on Via Mareneve, on an uphill stretch. All three motorcyclists were injured, but one of them is in serious condition. He was urgently transported by emergency services to the Cannizzaro trauma center in Catania, where he is currently hospitalized with a reserved prognosis. The conditions of the other two motorcyclists involved in the accident are less severe. The municipal police accident investigation unit is on-site to determine the dynamics of the collision.
