In Paternò discovered a depot of stolen cars

A depot of stolen vehicles was discovered by the carabinieri of the Compagnia di Radiomobile Nucleo Paternal.

After several car thefts committed in the area and in nearby centers, the military had concentrated their attention in an area called "Bae di sotto". Inside an abandoned shed, they found 9 cars of stealth origin.

The carabinieri believe they have discovered a storage depot for stolen cars and waiting for the so-called "Return horse". The hypothesis arises from the discovery of cars still perfectly intact and others in the process of dismantling the mechanical components for which, evidently, extortion had not yet been perfected.

The cars found were stolen in the territory of Catania, Caltagirone, Ramacca and Modica. These are three Fiat 500s, a Fiat Panda, two Alfa Romeo Giulietta, an Alfa Romeo Vito, a Ford Ka and a Fiat Punto. They have been returned to their rightful owners.
