Yesterday at 11:30 PM, the technical-logistic personnel of the Italian Air Force began the assembly procedures for the tension structures that will allow the expansion of the capacity of Terminal C at Catania Airport. The first structures were completed at dawn, and the passengers were able to enjoy air-conditioned areas for boarding procedures. Portable illuminated and refrigerated structures are being provided by the Italian Air Force and have arrived in Catania from the Third Wing in Villafranca (Verona). The SAC, the company managing the airport, has expressed gratitude to the Defense and the Air Force for their service to the nation.
