Illegal workers in Trapani suspended; activity halted in 4 companies.

During inspections conducted in 11 companies in Trapani, the Carabinieri of the Nil, labor inspectorate unit, reported eight individuals. In some of these companies, six undeclared workers were found, with some employed in two facilities in Castellammare del Golfo. Four companies had their activities suspended due to serious safety violations and for employing more than 10% of workers illegally, resulting in fines. The Carabinieri of Nas, a unit specialized in counterfeiting and health, reported the legal representative of a facility in Erice Casa Santa for converting a basement into a workplace and food storage area without updating the sanitary registration. A fine of one thousand euros was imposed on the facility.
