"Illegal occupation of state-owned area", disqualified seaside resort

Evidence of the facts was crystallized with probative seizure. Now there are no more needs and the goods could end up being damaged by atmospheric agents or used arbitrarily by those who frequent the beach. This is what lawyers Luigi and Sandro La Placa asked and obtained, from the Procuratorate of Sciacca, the seizure of the 150 umbrellas, of the 300 deckchairs and of the material seized, by the Coast Guard, in recent days on the beach of Menfi.

The seals were placed on 2,400 square meters – on the beach in the Bertolino Mare district of Menfi – and on the equipment. The seizure was triggered – wrote the Coast Guard – because from the assessments the owner "is not in possession of a regular license from the 2014 annuality". The hypotheses of crime put forward are, therefore, arbitrary and abusive occupation of state-owned area.

Two people registered in the register of suspects.
