The finance police of the naval section of Palermo fined a diver from Catania while he was fishing sea urchins in the waters of the port of Licata. 5,000 sea urchins were confiscated, caught in violation of the ban on fishing during the biological stopover months of May and June. The diver had a recreational boat. After receiving a favorable opinion following a visit from veterinarians from the Asp, the sea urchins were released back into the sea.
