Giardini Naxos man calls wife to hide drugs, gets arrested by police

A 51-year-old man was arrested by the carabinieri in Taormina and his 50-year-old wife was reported for attempting to hide drugs in their home. The woman was unaware that she was being watched by the authorities and was caught hiding a bag containing 300 grams of marijuana inside a shopping bag. The drugs were confiscated by the military. The husband’s arrest was validated and he was placed under house arrest, while the wife will be judged separately.
