German fifty-year-old risks drowning in Balestrate: many dive in and rescue her

A German tourist who was at risk of drowning in Balestrate was saved. Yesterday afternoon the woman ventured into the water, despite the rough sea, on the beach of the western promenade, near the lido Baia le Grotte. It was around 3pm.

The woman, around 50 years old, was surprised by the strength of the waves. Her husband, as she was unable to return to the shore, called for help. A young man dived in first, followed immediately by two lifeguards and other beachgoers. The woman was thus able to return to shore.
