Gela playground targeted by vandals: disabled slide also destroyed

Vandals wearing helmets to cover their faces targeted and destroyed the “Iqbal Masih” playground in Gela, Italy. The slides and wheelchair-accessible swing were rendered unusable. The incident was caught on video and circulated on the internet, angering the community. This act of vandalism follows a previous incident in June where trash was spread around the park. Many citizens expressed their disappointment and called for a sense of civic responsibility. The mayor, Lucio Greco, urged residents to report any further acts of vandalism.
