From the CEI 320 thousand euros for the restoration of the “Purgatory” of Cefalù and video surveillance systems in the churches of Piano Zucchi, Valledolmo and Castellana Sicula

The National Office for Ecclesiastical Cultural Heritage and Construction of Worship of the Italian Episcopal Conference has granted two grants for a total of 320 thousand euros,

to finance the restoration project and the adaptation of the systems of the Church of Santo Stefano di Cefalù and the projects to equip four churches of the Diocese of Cefalù with safety systems.
The official approval of the Episcopal Conference was communicated a few days ago.
Three hundred thousand euros have been allocated for the restoration of the Church of Santo Stefano, known as “del Purgatorio” in Cefalù, against a project that involves an expense of 440 thousand euros. Thanks to a second contribution of just under 19 thousand euros, the Church of the Holy Spirit in Cefalù, the Church of San Paolo Apostolo in Piano Zucchi, the Church of Purità in Valledolmo and the Church of San Giuseppe in Castellana Sicula.
