Free bus from Milan to Agrigento for 76 non-resident students: dates and eligibility

To combat the high cost of flights, the Municipality of Agrigento, in collaboration with the company Sais Trasporti, has launched an initiative in favor of many families with children studying away from home. In order to not give up on spending the Christmas holidays with their parents and grandparents, a free bus will be made available. The initiative is called “Natale con i tuoi” (Christmas with your loved ones). There are 76 seats available, and the bus will depart from Milan on December 20th at 2 pm, arriving in Agrigento. The return to Milan is scheduled for January 2nd, 2024. Residents and non-residents with a proven connection to Agrigento, as well as students and workers in certain regions, can participate by sending an email with the required documents. The mayor and the councilor see this initiative as a fair response to the high prices practiced by airlines, which penalize their citizens.
