"I searched on Subito.it and there was an interesting announcement of selling a Doblò for 2,500 euros, I gave him a deposit of 50 euros and I never saw either the money or the car." Francesco Aiello, the first witness heard at the trial resulting from the inquiry "Pacchi.it", which hypothesizes a series of scams of all kinds through the simulation of online purchases, tells the deception of which he would have been a victim. "I called the number – he continues answering to the prosecutor Antonella Pandolfi – and a man answered me, he told me that to stop the purchase I had to make a down payment and he sent me the details of a Postepay card headed to Samanta Cicatello. I paid 50 euros, after a few days I called him and he gave me an appointment at the Villaggio Mosè. There was no one at the appointment and he never answered the phone again, I realized that it had been a scam and I lodged a complaint ”.
The defendants, all fired, are seven. These are: Alessandro Bianchi, 26; Samanta Cicatello, 29 years old; Cristoforo Famà, 34 years old; Daniela Giannone, 41 years old; Antonina Parroco, 41 years old; Giuseppe Romano, 24 years old and Angelo Trupia, 47 years old.
The list of alleged scammers is very long: some of them have entered into civil action with the assistance of lawyers Davide Casà and Francesco Giambalvo.
