Fraud on Pnrr funds, four Acireale entrepreneurs in trouble

The provincial command of the Guardia di Finanza in Catania has reported four entrepreneurs from Acireale for improperly obtaining contributions through tax credits within the measures provided by the Pnrr. The entrepreneurs had invested in 4.0 instrumental goods, but the data generated was not being used to optimize efficiency within their companies. The military inspections revealed that the companies were not using the purchased goods for technological purposes, but instead to avoid paying taxes. The authorities found that the entrepreneurs had improperly claimed tax credits for about 184,500 euros and used about 103,000 euros without authorization. This operation demonstrates the Guardia di Finanza’s constant attention to ensuring the correct use of resources to promote economic recovery and modernization.
