Franca Fendi’s granddaughter gets married in Palermo; Luca Cordero di Montezemolo among guests

The beautiful city of Palermo in Sicily has once again witnessed a splendid and elegant wedding. This time, it was Ginevra Piersanti Fendi, the granddaughter of Franca Venturini Fendi and daughter of Federica Formilli Fendi, who flew to the Sicilian capital to experience the most important day of her life amidst the city’s beauty. Ginevra and her husband Alessandro got married yesterday afternoon at 6 pm in the church of Sant’Ignazio all’Olivella. The preparations began in the historic Palme hotel on Via Roma in the early afternoon, followed by their departure to the church. Upon their arrival, the couple was greeted by a gospel choir singing the famous and now almost traditional song, “Stand by Me.” After the fateful “I do,” friends and family awaited the couple outside for the rice throwing tradition, after which they sped off in a historic Porsche convertible along the streets of the historic center towards Villa Igiea, where the celebration continued. The event drew hundreds of curious onlookers and guests, including notable figures such as Luca Cordero Montezemolo, former president of Ferrari, and actor Alessandro Preziosi. At the historic liberty hotel, guests were immersed in traditional Sicilian songs and dances. Ginevra was born and raised in the illustrious family that brought Made in Italy to the world. Her creative spirit flourished within the Fendi fashion house and later with the new brand Fendissime. She now works for Triplef, a concept created by her mother Federica Formilli Fendi, combining fashion and design for interior decoration. The brand is currently led by Federica, alongside her daughter Ginevra.
