The firefighters of the provincial command of Catania intervened last night in Bronte for a large fire that broke out inside a carpentry workshop. The causes are currently under investigation. The alarm was raised by the owners themselves who tried, without success, to extinguish the flames.
Firefighting teams from the detachments of Randazzo, Maletto, and Linguaglossa worked on the site to extinguish the fire and prevent its spread. The intervention limited the damage to only a part of the roof. Carabinieri and medical personnel from 118 also intervened on the scene, although there were no reported injuries or intoxications.
