A fire broke out in the area where the annual Nativity scene of Castanea is set up. About 400 square meters of wooden structures were engulfed in flames. The fire brigade arrived and extinguished the fire after several hours, securing the area. The wooden structures were completely destroyed, but the cave was undamaged. The fire was reportedly caused by a short circuit. The damage is being assessed, but the Christmas event is not at risk.
