A fire broke out this morning (August 26) in a grocery store near Palermo’s central station, on Niccolò Palmeri street. The fire affected the ground floor of a two-story building. The firefighters from the provincial command, with three vehicles and ten units, managed to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to the entire premises and the apartments above. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire. There were no injuries reported.
