In the context of the anti-drug trafficking and consumption operation conducted by the police offices of Siracusa, the officers of the Priolo Gargallo precinct arrested a 50-year-old man for the crime of possession for the purpose of trafficking and cultivation of drugs. The investigators, led by Chief Inspector Vanessa Sulfaro, carried out a search in a house located in a field in Mostringiano, where the arrested man resides, and found and seized a marijuana plantation consisting of 40 plants, totaling 9 kilograms, and an additional 246 grams of the same drug stored in two jars. The arrested man is under house arrest.
