Fifty-six migrants land in Lampedusa, located at Cala Francese
Fifty-six migrants were found at Cala Francese during the night and were stopped by the carabinieri shortly after landing in Lampedusa. They were all from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Morocco, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Egypt, Syria, and Sudan, and reported leaving from Libya. The new arrivals were taken to the contrada Imbriacola hotspot where, after the transfer of 176 people to Bologna, there were 9 remaining guests.
