Fifty fires in one day in Palermo and its province.

Today, July 23rd, there were fifty fire interventions in Palermo and the province. The firefighters worked all day together with the forest rangers to extinguish dozens of intentionally set fires. The largest intervention took place in Baida, the capital of Sicily, where the firefighters prevented the flames from reaching the houses. Other fires occurred in Partinico, Misilmeri, Bagheria, Balestrate, and Trappeto.
