Ficarra and Picone return to the cinema: in the theaters on December 12 with the new film


After 10 weeks of filming, the set of the new film by Ficarra and Picone (still untitled) closes. The new feature film, the seventh for the actors and directors from Palermo, produced by Attilio De Razza for Tramp Limited, will be released in theaters on December 12th by Medusa Film. Written by the same Salvo Ficarra and Valentino Picone with Nicola Guaglianone and Fabrizio Testini, the magnificent natural scenery of Ouarzazate, in Morocco, and some locations in Italy, in Arpino (Frosinone) and Rome, were the protagonists.

The new film tells the story of Salvo and Valentino, a thief and a priest, who will end up traveling back in time, up to Year Zero. On this journey, they will have to deal with so many characters met along the way, including an unpublished Herod interpreted by Massimo Popolizio.

The director of photography is Daniele Cipri, to the costumes Cristina Francioni, the scenography is entrusted to Francesco Frigeri. This new film comes after the great success of L’Ora Legale, which was released in January 2017, and received a great reception from the public and critics, becoming the highest takings of the year with over 11 million euros.
