Ferragosto at Aeolian Islands with Mr. Rain: Pharaonic yachts emerge between Lipari and Panarea

In the Aeolian Islands, tourists woke up to a wonderful sunrise. The sky and the sea turned red thanks to the sun’s rays. Tourists at Marina Lunga beach in Lipari enjoyed the enchanting sight. At “Therasia” in Vulcano, tourists enjoyed the show by Mr. Rain, who became famous in Sanremo with his song “Supereroi”. Mr. Rain arrived in Milazzo on the yacht owned by Maurizio Mondello, along with his girlfriend and a couple of friends. The islands are celebrating the peak of summer with parades in the main streets of Lipari and entertainment shows in Salina between Malfa and Santa Marina, accompanied by fireworks illuminating the bay. The blue sea is crowded with mega yachts, with Panarea being the most popular island. Everywhere you look there are boats, just like in Lipari in front of the white pumice quarries. The famous yacht “Faith”, owned by Lawrence Stroll, the owner of the Racing Point Aston Martin team, is dominating the scene. With a value of 200 million dollars, the yacht features an helicopter and a submarine, and is currently anchored near Basiluzzo and Dattilo. It has 26 cabins, including two VIP suites, 17 of which are reserved for the crew. The services include a thermal pool at the back of the main deck and a helipad at the bow. Stroll is the owner and founder of the British Aston Martin F1 Team, which competes in the Formula 1 World Championship, with his son, Lance, being one of the drivers. Another prominent yacht in Panarea is the 48-meter “Khalilah”, made of carbon fiber and aluminum, worth 28 million euros. In Vulcano, the 61-meter “Just JS”, built by the Dutch Hakvoort shipyard, was spotted. It has a stylish interior designed by yacht Sinot. In Stromboli, near Strombolicchio, the 50-meter “White Star” yacht, flying the Cayman Islands flag, is anchored, featuring five-star hotel-like interiors.
