Favara resident on house arrest threatens community owner with death and gets imprisoned.

Alessandro Caramanno, a 45-year-old man, had been under house arrest in a community in Favara. However, he has now been sent to prison after allegedly threatening to kill the owner of the facility. Caramanno reportedly shouted threats and brandished a kitchen knife and a screwdriver. The alarm was raised and the police intervened, managing to apprehend Caramanno before anyone was harmed. The authorities seized the weapons and informed the supervisory magistrate, who decided to revoke Caramanno’s house arrest and send him to jail. He was accompanied to the Petrusa prison after the necessary procedures were completed at the police station.
