Favara, autopsy ordered for couple found dead at home

The victims, Paolo Lombardo and Maria Fiorilli, both 76 years old, were found in their home, with the man dead in bed and the woman on the floor with a head wound. Investigators speculate that she may have fallen while trying to get help after discovering her husband’s death, but the investigation is still in its early stages. An autopsy will determine the cause of death, ordered by the public prosecutor of the Agrigento district.
