Father and son arrested in Canicattì with drugs, cash hidden in home.

The police of the mobile unit in Agrigento arrested a father and son, aged 53 and 29, respectively, after finding them in possession of 435 grams of hashish, 20 grams of marijuana, and 23 grams of cocaine during a search in their home in Canicattì. They also found materials for cutting and packaging the drugs. Everything was seized, including over 4,000 euros believed to be proceeds from their illegal drug dealing. A sniffer dog unit from the finance guard easily detected the drugs. The arrests have been confirmed by the judge, who ordered house arrest with electronic monitoring for the 53-year-old and a requirement to stay in the municipality for the son.
