Another person died on the roads of Sicily. This time in a road accident on the Pozzallo-Ispica at km 104 along the 194 national road. The victim was a cyclist from Scicli, who died after a violent impact with a car. The man, Pino La Guardia, was 58 years old and was a municipal employee of Scicli and an avid cyclist.

According to the reconstruction by law enforcement and Anas, the man was hit and killed by a car. He died on the spot. For many years, he was a driver for the mayors who succeeded each other, working in the notifications office. He leaves behind his wife, two children, and parents. Anas is on the scene to manage the event and restore regular traffic flow as soon as possible. The road is closed in that section.
