Fatal accident between Noto and Palazzolo Acreide claims life of 76-year-old man

A tragic incident occurred on the 287 state road that connects Noto to Palazzolo Acreide in Siracusa. A man riding a scooter lost control and veered off the road, crashing into a wall. The impact was severe and resulted in very serious injuries, which proved to be fatal for the 76-year-old man. Emergency services arrived at the scene and attempted to save him, but he unfortunately passed away during resuscitation efforts. He was originally from Avola. Carabinieri conducted investigations to determine the sequence of events, and initial findings suggest that no other vehicles were involved.
